NASA PSYCHE
Clock

For the "NASA Psyche Clock" project, I designed a working clock with the theme of the Psyche Asteroid mission. Where NASA launched an orbiter towards an asteroid past Mars thats believed to be a planet core. One of the most important parts of the mission is the 'Mars gravity assist'. This clock emphasizes that step in the process, having the large hand with a small orbiter attached, rotate counter-clockwise. Following the word gravity, while also showing the act of the assist as it continues.
There's also a smaller hand in the top right, which rotates clockwise. Shows the countdown of the mission using iconography to point out the steps of initial launch, the Mars gravity assist, and finally arriving at the Psyche asteroid in 2029.
